Our Love Story

HIS:
Tex-ington a love story, A dancing cowgirl from Texas and a Tree hugging hippie from Seattle. I first saw her at church shortly after returning from my mission, and was stunned with her beauty. I shortly after learned she was from Texas.... I thought to myself that will never work! As the Sundays passed I continued to check her out every time I saw her wishing we had something in common. I finally with the help of a good friend worked up the courage to talk to her, I asked her why she was here from Texas and found out she was heading to BYU-Idaho soon. (I heard "yeah shaggy haired bearded boy... I'm not interested) After a while of still seeing her at church I stopped her on campus and asked, "aren't you supposed to be in Idaho?" She told me she decided to stay and didn't know why. That solidified my notion of her not being interested. Fast forward a month or so and finals week was upon us. I noticed she was always in the library studying and thought to myself, "That is my shoe-in! We both study a lot." I caught her Facebooking from the second floor of the library as I was about to say hello. A few minutes later I received a friend request from hers truly. We started talking and marked a day to recharge ours brains on a dinner date. We ate my favorite place Benja's (also happens to be hers) We had a lovely dinner and a quaint stroll down main street for cup cakes. After discovering her weekly temple schedule I suggested we attend together. After the first week I knew she was something special. Our first kiss came the following week after our temple session. After that it's been perfect! :)

HERS:
A Texas dancer + a Washington hipster... Who would have ever thought?? It all started the summer he returned home from his mission. He laid his eyes on the new southern bell in the ward, but she told him she was leaving St. George and going to BYUI in the fall, so he tried to forget about her. She on the other hand, had decided to stay for an unknown reason, and always checked him out during Sunday school. She taught and he was her best student, how could it be any better than that? A couple months went by and he noticed she stayed, and thought she lied to him (or was just trying to help me get the hint that she wasn't interested) (not really..). He finally got the guts to ask her out and she was so nervous just to talk to this gorgeous guy! They went on the best first date either of them had ever been on, and he took her to his favorite restaurant (that he didn't know was also hers) and then they went on a nice stroll down Main Street and got some delicious cupcakes for desert. She didn't want it to end, they were really getting to know each other. Luckily for her, there was another date... Then another... And he surprised her with a Starbucks peppermint hot chocolate her first day back at work, which meant the world to her because of his effort to make her day :) he noticed she went to the temple every week alone, so he planned that they could start going together after school. That meant a lot to her that he wanted to do something so special with her. After a couple weeks! She couldn't wait to hold his hand, so lo and behold... After the temple one night, while they were both dressed up nicely, he grabbed her hand as they walked through the cold, and she got more than expected.... A first goodnight kiss! She knew right then that this was the reason she was meant to stay in st George, to find her Mr. Right. They both never thought true love would click so fast, but when you know... You really know.... They continued dating every time they were together. Whether it be a beautiful hike, trying new foods, dancing in the kitchen while cooking, temple nights,  road trips together to meet each others friends and family, or just studying in the library together. (They need good grades to get into dental hygiene and medical school!) Nothing can separate these two (except work). As long as they're together, they feel they can achieve anything and do anything. Nothing can bring these to down. As long as they're together... They are indescribably happy! Others even smile when they see them or hear about them. They are fun loving and can't help but make each other laugh.  So then he decided to kneel down on one knee and ask the question, she was so in shock , she could barely move! But… she did say YES!
